Luau and Longboarders Invitational Free

Luau begins around noon as guests head up the bluffs overlooking the contest site on the campus of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Tropical buffet, Surfy tunes and traditional Polynesian dancing. Opportunity drawings and live and silent auctions offer the chance to get one-of-a-kind surfboards, memorabilia and trips. By celebrating the “aloha” spirit in the fight against cancer, they have raised more than $5 million for cutting edge cancer research and care at the Moores UCSD Cancer Center.
